i can'topen yahoo messenger i think i deleted some files before when.can you help me please?

when i go to yahoo messenger,i clock on "get started" then first and second RUN. AFTER THAT NOTHING HAPPEN!!!PLEASE HELP

Reinstall it. "Friends list" is stored on the server, so you will not loose anything.

You'll probably need to reinstall it, which is a piece of cake.

To uninstall Yahoo! Messenger:

1. Exit Yahoo! Messenger completely. If you don't, the uninstall will fail.
a. Check to make sure by click the "Start" button
b. Click "RUN"
c. type "taskmgr.exe" in the box and hit the ENTER/RETURN key.
d. Click the "PROCESSES" tab.
e. Look for YAHOOMESSENGER.EXE or YPAGER.EXE, if either appears highlight it and click "END PROCESS."
f. Close the window when finished.
2. Click the "Start" button.
3. Select "Settings" and then "Control Panel."
4. Double-click "Add/Remove Programs."
5. Select "Yahoo! Messenger" and click the "Remove" button.
6. Click the "Next" button and then the "Finished" button.

To install Yahoo! Messenger:

1. Close all running Applications except for your Internet browser.
2. Visit the Yahoo! Messenger with Voice download page.
3. Click the "Get Started" button

Note: Download time can take anywhere from 1 to 15 minutes. You need 8MBs of free space to install Yahoo! Messenger.

After installing, launch Yahoo! Messenger with Voice Beta. If you have a Yahoo! ID and password already (that you use for Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Photos, Yahoo! Games, etc.), you can enter it. Otherwise, click the "Get Yahoo! ID" button to create a free Yahoo! Account.

Go into My Computer and navigate to c:\program files\yahoo! and delete the folder called messenger, reboot, then go to messenger.yahoo.com and try another install.
