well i like the nike one. it gives me ultimate performance for my demands. nothing to take away from the prov1, its still a great ball. i like nike because i like the swoosh sign and its not something distracting when i tee it up. i also have a bit of nike clubs, not sure if this makes me biased. ignite 460 driver, pro combo utility iron, 3-pw nike nds, and a tiger woods lob wedge.
:-) :-)

Definitely the Titleist over the Nike. However you should take a look at the Bridgestone B330 series. The B330 is comparable to the ProV1x and the B330-S is similar to the regular ProV1. The ProV1x and B330 are going to give you a lower ball flight, less spin and more distance. These are good for people with driver speed of 105+. If you're swinging between 95-105 mph I would look at the ProV1. Anything below this swing speed you should try the Srixon Z-URS.

I have used both brands and I currently use the Nike One Platinum ball. It has a better feel of the club and the surface of the ball holds up longer for me. I like the spin that you get from the ProV1, but if you are good enough you can make the Nike One dance real nice. That is my take and I have been happy with the Nike Ball.

Truely, there is no difference. Yes, there is advancing technology, but most major golf companies are on top of it. Most balls will have almost identical results. The only reason that there would be a difference is if one brand makes you feel better.
If you trust the Nike brand name, and having a Nike ball will make you make a more confident swing, buy that. If you believe in titleist, buy that. Remember, though, that Nike costs more. Try both, then decide what makes you more confident.
I'm a titleist guy, myself. :P

I prefer the Titleist Pro V-1 or NXT Tour over the Pro V-1x and the Nike's. Below is a link for you:

There is definitely a difference between ball performance. The Pro V1 is still the best all around ball in my personal opinion. I personally don't use it because it is way too expensive for me and the incremental improvement in ball performance is not worth it for me.
Regarding which ball you should use, you really need to consider your needs. Do you want more distance? More spin? etc.. Take a look at the links I've included here to gauge various balls and their strengths and weaknesses.

They're similar. But I think Pro V1 holds the lie during putting better. It feels heavy though. Use Pro V1X, it's a little different with lower ball flight but I think it go further on the drive.
