This guy I know that's flirted with me before. Then was sometimes mean to me, but apoligized for being mean. One day I was really fixed up hair done up different, more makeup ect, when he saw me on this day. Later on that day when he saw me he totally ignored me. And had a grouchy expression, when I asked him something and didn't look at me but just looked grouchy when he answered. And ignored me for a couple of days later. Then about a week went by. Then he started just being really friendly to me big smiles when he would see me. But not flirty anymore, just a different kind of attention. A little more eye contact then before but still not always. Why do you suppose he acted this way? Did he not like the way I looked. He also payed more attention to a friend of mine that day. And I know for a fact their just friends. What was going on?

okay you want to know why he was acting differently. Did you happen to look at yourself in the mirror that day? Did you think you looked differently. Cause I can tell you right now he noticed you did. And better at that. He had it fixed in his mind that you were beautiful already and now he sees that you are gorgous. Enchanting. But do you think he's going to go on acting like he used to. I think not. Cause now he has different feeling. And Guys dont know how to express themselves. More eye contact means " I want to look into your soul and see who you are in there" Just give him time and he will come around. Just let him get over the shock of what is happening. Hang tight and you'll get your answer to what is going on.

Sounds weird to me. I usually let a girl know how pretty they look being a friend or a girl I have a crush on or any girl. I like to let the girls know that they are very nice looking especially if they take the time to do the extra fixing up. Maybe this guy you are talking about thinks you got fixed up for someone else? Who knows, guys can be strange can't we? But that guy is really strange. Maybe you were so pretty that he was speechless.

You know, men don't always notice those kinds of things. I bet he was just having a bad day, and you happened to be there. I seriously doubt that you should analyze this, because who cares. He's probably just going through a rough time in life, and he doesn't want to talk about it. Of course, if it really bothers you, you should just ask him! Or, if you just want to find out what he thinks of you, ask him out. I would just say something like, "I thought you might like to take me dancing next weekend." If he says no then you don't have to worry about it anymore, and if he says yes then you don't have to worry about it anymore--he likes you.

maybe with you cleaned up, he felt you were out of his league or you thought you were anyway. take any change in attitude as a compliment. if you looked nicer it had an affect on him, he wouldn't dislike you for looking nicer, that doesn't make sense.
he probably thought that you were saying look ; I am nice looking. you are really gonna have to work to get on my good side again.
and truthfully, between you and me, that is what you were thinking. you were thinking look how nice I clean up. how much did you ignore him that day? did you act normal or stand offish? you didn't want to get in his face and say LOOK AT ME, but you wanted to be noticed, he sensed the change and read what he wanted into it.

Could the guy be marrried, and it scares him to see you looking so good, knowing how much he wants you, and can never have you? Could that be it? Or could it be strictly coincidental that after he saw you looking so good. he got interested in someone else. It was NOT your looks, that's for sure. Guys LOVE it when ladies "fix up"! Do it again, and see if there's any change in him!

He probably more than liked the way you looked..and maybe it made him jealous in some way (guyz are hard to read) He is probably trying to make you jealous now...especially if he is all of a suddenly paying attention to your friend.

Sometimes girls tend to overdo it when dressing up. Guys are turned off by a lot of makeup. There are a lot of reasons though. He really may have just felt awkward because he thought you dressed up for him and he didn't.

That just means that he always found you attractive but wasnt sure how to get close to you so he just fought you. Now that you have dressed up it he sees the cutie side of you. Awww

ok you are just like me i did the exact same thing and he didnt like it either what i did the next day iasked him why he was acting like a jerk around me he said because i dont like all that make-up on your face he also said that i was pretty the way i was so thats probobly why.
