yea... what site will give you a free credit report without having to use a credit card for a "free period" i have heard of a couple on t.v. but stupid me i didn't right them down ... ha! thanks for the help

www.annualcreditreport.com. You can get from from each bureau once each year.

www.annualcreditreport.com is correct... you can dispute any inaccuracies but the Credit Reporting Agencies will be allowed to take 45 days to verify, instead of 30 days from the traditional sites.


Pilon is right... for your scores you will have to pay.

The only truly free, no-strings-attached site is http://www.annualcreditreport.com You won't have to pay for the REPORT but you will have to pay for the SCORE.

Get one agency's report now (June), another in four months (Oct), and the last in four more months (Feb) and you can monitor your credit all year for FREE.
