hi
actually u cant delete it all from your computer but all what u can is to delete the shortcut from your desktop and start menu...in case of using WindowsXP...go to "start menu" then choose "settings" then "control panel" then "add or remove programs" then u will get a window opened with all extran software u installed on your system....but u will never find Internet Explorer there...try to find "add/remove windows components" or simply hold the combination of "alt + w" from your keyboard... u will then find the all Windows core components that u can install or uninstall...u will find Internet Explorer there but if u unchecked the button beside it u will not uninstall it...u will just remove its access form both your desktop and start menu.....that all what i can help with...if u find it usefull, u r welcome...if not ..u r welcome too...;-)

You can't completely get rid of IE......it's part of the operating system.....the same with MSN Messenger and Windows Media Player. Doing an uninstall from the control panel will only get rid of the icons

Go to start>Control panel

Then select Add/Remove Programs.

On the left you will see Add/Remove Windows Components.

Select this and uncheck Internet Explorer from the list and hit finish!

Everyone else is wrong

it would be better not to do that if you plan on making a website. since most people still use internet explorer you'll need to test your pages in it.
