Peel some sweet potatoes. Cut them in half. Slice into layers thickly. Cut into fry shapes. Submerge in water for storage. Add them to a seasoned flour, which can be salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Drain the potatoes when ready to cook. Toss in the seasoned flour. Fry in peanut oil at 350 degrees F. until tender and done. Dip in remouillade sauce.

MMM...might have to try your idea for sweet potatoes! :)
I like to make garlic mashed potatoes..I use Idahos and mix in lots of butter and garlic, some milk and fresh chives.
We also grill reds or Idahos chunked in tin foil with baby carrots, onion, green peppers and seasoning.

I slice baking potatoes, and fry them in a skillet with oil. Once they're soft, I drain them, and add some salt. Makes great tasting home made fries. They taste just like the fries you'd get at a fast food place! :D
I also like to cut up baking potatoes or red potatoes, boil them, then add butter and salt. It's a great tasting side. It tastes a lot like a baked potato!

A big, healthy baked potato...with lots of butter, sour cream, chives, salt and pepper. Don't forget the skins...with added butter and salt.

Red potatoes cleaned and half bake them whole or nuke 'em.
Quarter them and top them off with some olive oil and teriyaki sauce. Place them on the grill and brown. Yum Yum.
