The problem isn't about the senior boy or the age difference...it's about hiding stuff from your parents. It's also about your personal value system, which will ultimately define who you are later in life. But without knowing the kind of relationship you have with your parents, or the history of your family's communication issues, it's difficult to give advice. BTW...my wife and I are 10 years apart..we've been married 35 years.

That's not as bad as I am. The guy I like is 24 and I'm 17. Two years doesn't make that much of a difference. Just look at your parents. Are they more than two years apart? If you can prove that they have nothing to worry about in this realtionship, maybe everything will be ok.

If they ask just tell the truth. Yet your boyfriend going to leave for college so they probably let you date him til he leaves. then again I don't know your parents. Yet if he is 18 and your like 16 it can be frown upon because he is legally an adult. so if you really like him I would keep from telling your parents.

You gotta be kidding. There is not problem with a 2 year age difference at all. It's totally irrelevant

It shouldn't be a problem with your parents if they trsut you because i thought the same thing with my parents because one of my ex's is 19 and i'm 16 but they understood that i'm mature enough to date someone that age

I think age is insignificant when both parties are mature enough to handle the responsibility of a relationship.

Well that could depend on the state that you live in, and your ages. If he is 18 and you have been having sex, it is possible that your parents would freak out and send his booty to jail. So, on that positive note, don't have sex with em, and you are all good.

age is just a number. tell your parents and tell them that he's a nice guy. invite him over one day and let them get to know him. just tell your parents to trust you and that you really want to be with him. i bet they've been in that position when they were younger especially your mom, they'll understand.

2 years really shouldn't matter. Just sit down with your parents...make sure you have their individed attention and go for it....tell them you have a boyfriend and he's a senior....
