Didn't Pizza the Hut eat himself to death? I think that's the reason for the change in slogans.

It’s called marketing. People get tired of hearing the same old thing. Also they test these things in surveys and marketing research. That’s how Taco Bell (owned by the company that owns Pizza Hut) learned the talking mutt was the favorite of little old ladies, and not their teenage and young adult core market. Also Pizza Hut has had a big shake-up recently. The original company Tricon, acquired Kentucky Fried Chicken, A&W fast food stores, and Long John Silvers. They have also moved their base of operations to Kentucky (they were based in Dallas Texas) consoldating all thier headquarters there. All of this was done last year. So they are probably dealing with a new marketing company in the Kentucky area.

I think he got them. Pizza Hut was just next on the list.

They never made it Great come to Buffalo,NY and get some REAL pizza Prima and LaNova's are the Best!!

You know, I never thought about it! How insightfull of you. I guess PH feels that if you are gathering around "the good stuff" ( presumably their pizza ) then they must be "makin' it great". That's my guess.
