...yes...

in many traditions we can hardly wait to get out of our bodies,
we should try to maximize the precious time we have in this body

we can choose to focus on the separatenss or on the unity

People who dwell in realms of intuition have no difficulty discussing souls, forks in the road, looking for signs, where they come from, where they go, death, angels, demons, heaven, or hell.

we need simply to discover the inner language that helps us communicate with the hidden parts of the soul.

....yes, yes, yes i believe God gives signs to people when they come to a fork in the road of life? and indeed, it seems the more aware i become, the more forks i encounter....

decisions....decisions

intuition: human consciousness is different from that of other forms of life.

Certain types of symbolic thinking, imagination, reflection, projection, planning, and humour are actions of human consciousness as well as the looking for signs.

Remember free will? God has given us that. We make our own choices. And prayer asking for divine intervention would make the difference. I believe in signs but sometimes, God has given us more than enough to think and feel correctly. There are signs around us. And deciphering them would be our tasks.

We choose our own path and if we end up in disaster, there are a number of paths to take. A path to straighten up what you have right now or a path to turn your back on it and start again.

Wake up, Dorothy!! The Scarecrow and The Tin Man don't exist--it was just a dream!! The only signs you'll ever get if you reach a fork-in-the-road is the one with the clenched hand and the middle finger extended upward!! God only lives in the same part of our minds where Santa and the reindeer reside! Try believing in yourself--it's much more reliable!!

If earlier you had specifically asked GOD for a sign whether this man was the Husband that GOD had chosen for you, then YES.

GOD's signs to us NEVER go against His Word. My experience with GOD's answers to my prayers have always been revealed to me in at least three ways.

GOD will allow us to make bad decisions, or what some call "free will", but eventually He gets our attention. (Read the book of Jonah. He was really stubborn, but he finally did what GOD "suggested"!)

Yes and No

No I don't think sliding off the road is a sign for that situation.

But if you didn't slide off the road at that time, would you have possibly been in just the right place where another car would have hit you and killed you.

In that way, that could have been God helping you.

I do believe that He sends us signs in strange ways all the time. But, were you really listening? Are you listening now? Keep knocking, seeking, asking and He will answer your questions. Honestly, your car probably hydro-planed, but you are learning something from your life experience (disaster) and I believe the answer will be revealed to you in God's perfect time. Remember the story of Peter worrying about paying taxes. Jesus told Peter to go fishing. When he caught his first fish, he was to look in the fish's mouth. Peter didn't understand, but he did as Jesus said. When Peter caught his first fish, he looked in its mouth. There he found a gold coin! There was plenty of money to pay taxes. God WILL take care of our needs. You must trust Him to take care of you!

Who knows? I do believe that there are no coincidences, only encounters with the will of God and opportunities to make choices. Not everything is a sign from God, but He is always there.

Yes, I think He does, sometimes. Usually He expects you to seriously study the scriptures so that you can become wise enough to see the right path you should follow. . . but there are times when you can't see where a path would lead, and then He shows you sometimes. You still might not listen, though.

Your car followed the law of physics - pretty simple. If God interacted with us in such ways, the world would not be the way it is today. My guess is that you were not in synch with the way God wanted your life to go way before you got into your car that day.
