My 2 year old son decided that mommy's CD player could double as a bank and put a couple of quarters in the slot. I believe if I can get the radio out, that I can get the quarters out. Any website recommendations or helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, the two U-shaped tools will not work because it is one of the new radios without the holes in the side. I have the U-tools, but don't know about the out side panel

You need a Ford radio removal tool. Available at any stereo shop or online.
Tool quickly releases retaining clips on many Ford radios. Also works on some Saab, VW, Audi and other import applications. Allows easy removal without damage. After radio release, the two tools lock into place in the clips. This allows the tools to be used as handles for removing radio from the panel.
Manufacturer: LISLE

you have to remove the center trim out by pulling on the trim carefully.. If I remember it just snaps in all the way around. after that's off, it's either 2 or 4 screws (7mm) to remove and 2-3 connectors in the rear of the radio.

No websites I am aware of that are free on how to do it. You will need a t-8 torz to remove the screws and is best left to someome who knows what they are doing.. but you can try to shake it out the best you can but no guarantees

ford has these pins used to remove the radio. you should be able to get them at wal-mart. or best buy. stick the pins in the 4 holes on the radio, pull them away from each other, then it should pull out.
