I am not married, but maybe by the time i join the AF i will be. They told me she can live with me on-base, BUT, they will move us to other AF bases once in a while. I wanna know how is that gonna affect her in her job she has at the time we are in that base?
Is she gonna have to look for a job again? Or are they gonna help her get a job similar to the one she had before?

Moving is a part of military life. Some people get lucky, and "homestead" at one base or another for an extended period of time, but that's not the norm. On average, you can plan on moving about every 4 years, give or take. There are programs that support the family, and can help with relocation including helping your spouse get a new job at your new location, but it's no guarantee she will walk right into a new job.

Yes, married airmen can live in on base housing, but there is often a waiting list. I never lived on base, I always preferred to live off base "on the economy". Especially overseas (I lived in Germany for 4 years) I enjoyed the experience of living in a german town. If you are unable to live on base, and are married, you will be paid an additional housing allowance to cover expenses of rent, utilities, etc. Unmarried junior enlisted live in dormitories, otherwise known as barracks.

If her job is that important to her, she may have to rethink the marriage. You rarely get a choice as to where you are stationed. The Military's first priority is its military members. There may be services that will help the spouse look for some sort of a job at your next station. Most of that will depend on the local job market and the spouses experience/education etc. The old saying is, Uncle Sam did not issue you a spouse, so its best to be prepared to deal with this.

If you are going into the same career. Like both Metals Tech... for example. The likelyhood of you two going to the same Tech school and being stationed together are VERY high. The Air Force will do anything in it's power to put you two together. But if you end up in different career feilds, they will try, but it's not guaranteed. Especially tech will be harder to be at the same base, but being stationed together is a possibility.
