Does anyone watch TBN? I wished our cable company would take it out of their lineup!

TBN, in my opinion, is heretical. They're always asking for money. Why don't they sell all that gilded furniture and use a smaller studio so they can do more ministries? I wouldn't believe anything that any preacher told me on TBN. If your cable company won't take it off, block it!

I am a christian. Years ago i used to be a faithful viewer. I quit watching 9/11. The whole nation was turned to what was going on in new york. Other christian channels stopped and began to hold prayer vigils at that very moment. Not TBN. I am not saying they didn't later--i do not know because i quit watching. I harbor no ill will though. It was all getting to "celebrity" for me anyway. I just want Jesus and him alone withouth the fluff.
There are some good christian channels though...Daystar comes to mind, Eternal Word and Angel...Christian television definatley has a role...

Well that is your opinion. I myself do not particularly care for the way that they are always asking for money and I don't believe in women preachers either, but what else is there for Christians to watch, really nothing and no matter what you think it is helping alot of people understand and come closer to God, something that would not be such a bad idea for you to do. And the stories that they tell and what they preach is from the bible so it is true and anyway why does it bother you so much? Do you not believe in God or do you just have so many evil things going on in your life that you are scared to accept religion? I shall pray for you and ask that God will have mercy on you for your ignorance.

I will give Paul and Jan Crouch credit for building the Christian empire that they have built in 34 years.
But I honestly believe that they are pandering to people by telling them what they want to hear.
There is a great responsibility to being a Christian.
It's not all about money and blessings.
By the way I am A Christian Pastor.

Only when my blood pressure is too low.
I do, however, pray for them daily that they might get right before God! Every now and then, a real Christian get's air time, but it's WAY too rare!
