When I stop and really think about this question it hurts, but it feels good at the same time. Why did he do it?

Its a beautiful and wonderful thing that Jesus died and rose again to life, for man. But there is more than Him just doing it for us. He also came to earth to defeat Satan. Satan fooled the first man and woman with a lie. Satan brang death to all with his lie. God came down to earth in human form to repair the damage done by Satan. In order for us to rise and live again, He had to become one of us, and rise and live again. He was victorious! Now the promise is to us as well. Satan from the very beginning has tried to imitate God. God knew this was the one thing Satan could not do. Satan knows it to, its the one thing he cannot imitate.
But Satan still is spreading his lies and trying to fool man. He knows what his end is, and he wants us to believe that hes taking most of us with him. I, for one am not fooled. I know that there is no power greater than in the cross of Jesus Christ. No love greater than Gods love.

Jesus died because God had to show the people he really loved them. Jesus was and is God's son. But his death is not permanent. He is now in heaven on the right side of God. That is where I want to be, in heaven, with them and all the loved ones that have passed on. Jesus made it possible to pray without sacrificing animals. All we have to do is talk to him. He listens and if we shut and we can hear an answer from the most unusal places.

He fullfilled the Prophesy of The Old Testament ( Psalm 22:16, Numbers 24:17-19, Genesis 3:15 etc.). We would not be saved without His sacrificial death on the cross. Because we are sinnes. All of us, if we are honest, we would have to admit that we do things which we know are wrong. Jesus gave up His life for us, nobody took it. No jews, no Romans. It was because of my sins and your sins. Because: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Lord" Romans 6:23.

When I saw the movie "The Passion of Christ", I could not help but cry when I saw His suffering. He went that lenght to save my soul. I am thankful forever. And His gift of eternal life is available for all of us. And I cannot stop spreading the word about this gospel, good news. The good news is that Jesus loves you. He is alive and well!! And He can make everything new.

God loves us so much that He sent His Son to save us, we would not make it by law. If you really try to be a good person and not to sin. If you would be able to eliminate your sins just for a three a day, you would be good....or would you? But count how many sins we commit in a year then. Imagine if you would have to go to court to defend your so many traffic violations in a year...do you think that you would still be a good driver, safe driver.

We all have sinned, and we do not deserve His mercy, but His blood was poured out to clean us from our sins. We need to repent from our bad ways, but we get saved only by His mercy and grace.

If we are doing good, and then we compare ourselves to ones that are beeing bad...we could fool ourself to think that we are doing good. Do not ever compare yourself to a bad example and feel good. Always compare yourself with Jesus Christ who is perfect, so it is easier to humble our heart and realize that we have long way to go. That is why we are so happy for what Jesus did for us. For all of us. Not only for Christians. So what keeps you from taking this precious gift today and pray that Jesus will lead you to a life changing connection with God, free from Religions?

I am the way and the truth and the life. John 14:6

Jesus had to die on the cross so that we would be cleaned from our sins, past, present and future, and be right in the Heavenly Fathers eyes. That is why we are assured of everlasting life when we accept Christ as our Saviour. We are so blessed that God loved us enough to send His only son.

Yes it hurts because He suffered a painful death for a sin-filled world. But I am so thankful for His sacrifice. He is an awesome Lord who should be thanked everyday for His wonderful gift of life. I am not ashamed to call Him my Lord. Anyone who would give up their life for another is a truly blessed individual,He might not reap the benefits here because of his sacrifice but what a glorious day it will be when he faces our Lord and Master.

In the olden day, people had to make sacrifices to God for the forgiveness of sins. So to stop the daily sacrifices, God sent the ULTIMATE sacrifice: Jesus. So when we sin we just pray and ask for forgiveness.

Because He loves me (and you...the world) in spite of our defficient sorry worthless filthy rag wearing selves. He sees us as the children we once were...bright shining faces, cherubic expressions of awe and wonder, delight...bright eyed and innocent. Suffer the little ones to come unto me..for such is the Kingdom of God. What parent doesn't love their child even when they grow to be evil? It breaks the heart but that just causes the love to spill out stronger...Thats what we do to Jesus, we break His heart..and so His body was broken for us..so we could all be together again. I hope there is something I do to redeem myself a little at least...to please Him..but I am sure its all from Him and nothing of myself. That's okay...I'm weak..so He is strong. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

Jesus died for us because we needed to be perfect to live in heaven. Of course you should know no one is perfect. Jesus had to die for our sins and take them away. Now that He died we can go to heaven. Well, not exactly, you have to believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Pray this prayer if you believe:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I believe that you died and I want you to take my life.
In Jesus's name amen

Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sin, and it hurts because he didn't deserve it, and it feels good because it was Gods gift to us

Jesus died for us for two reasons (that I know of): 1.) He knew that this was the will of God and 2.) Jesus died for us so that we could be forgiven for our sins...just out of pure love.
