Agnostics have the most interest in religion of all religious groups, most Christians get mad at me because I know more than them about their own religion. I don't get problems from anyone else.

They are right, we are wrong, and the sooner we figure that out, the sooner everything will be alright. People who are not fully comfortable with their own religious ideas, are afraid that something else may make more sense. They are faced with many facts of science now that discredit their religious myths, that they can't explain away. It leaves them angry and combative. But you go ahead with your studies, because you can't make an educated decision (or conversation) without being properly educated on the subject. Personally, I think they SHOULD teach religion in school. The top 100 religions of the world, and I think they should spend an equal amount of time on each!!! Think of how that would effect the children in areas of tolerance and acceptance!!!
Diversity is the colors of the rainbow, it wouldn't be near as pretty if it were all RED!!

Well some people just hate everybody that's not of their faith. Others may not understand what your beliefs are and might just think, "Just another name for a dirty atheist" (I'm an atheist by the way and hate when people say that. I was agnostic for a few years though) Others may just because they hate everybody. Why do people abuse anybody to begin with anyway?

People don't understand your approach to religion and questions some agnostics are harsh and contemptible at times, but their ask questions on religion is thought provoking and intense and see things differently or another way looking at religion.

I don't abuse agnostics. My best friend is agnostic. However, I do get upset when I get abused by agnostics/atheists who tell me I'm an idiot, insane or uneducated for believing. If you are truly seeking, I pray that you'll find the answers. God loves you and wants you for His own.

I think agnostics get a bad reputation because they say they don't know, but they sure act like they do know. I've met agnostics who live like there is no god, but never met one who lives like there is a god. Looks like an athiest, but they don't commit to that side either. Abused from both sides.

I would say, ALL Christians were Agnostics until they accept Christ as Lord and Savior. Then they stopped looking but should not stop learning.

I guess it's because they believe that anyone who isn't "for" them is automatically "against" them. Some religious people are also so hypersensitive about their religion that they'll view anything less than flattering toward it as an insult.

Religionists are delusional, Atheists are fundamentalists, but Agnostics say "We don't know" so they are sensible and intellectually honest.

I've not noticed that kind of abuse.
Better to admit that you don't know, than to stand absolutely against what you really don't know!
