I never wake up! Which is good cause it saves me asking 'Is it in yet?' and 'What your finished?'
In the early days if he was 'done' and I hadn't even started I'd have to tell him to 'Get down there!'

Not bad etiquette. Sadly, just a fact of life.
Often the waking you up in the middle of the night part has absolutely nothing to do with you. It is all about him -- in my experience.
At these times, you probably already know, there is no foreplay. There is just him going happily back to sleep, and you now wide awake saying 'what the..."?!?!?
The secret to a happy and long marriage is payback time, when you demand and get what you want from him at a time when you are BOTH awake.

It's totally bad etiquette! If he has the nerve to wake you up to have sex then he had better make it good. Wait, how awake were you? Are you sure it was your husband?

1 Corinthians 7:3-5
3) Let the husband render unto his wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4) The wife hath no power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath no power of his own body, but the wife.
5) Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
Look up benevolence and defraud. These two words are the main reason for divorce. Not money or looks. Husband and wives examine youselves. You are not rendering benevolence and you are definitely defrauding one another( I do not speak for all marriages, just those divorced ones or those ones having trouble.)
So the answer is NO it is not bad etiquette.

Once again people lighten up. Bad etiquette? Yes only if your pregnant.....lol. There are quite a few preachy & prudish people here who have no sense of humor. It is just plain rude to wake you and not even put any effort into it. Damn brother, swing those hips. Later Gotti.

Not really. Husbands tend to this sort of thing pretty often. It's pretty common.
What is definitely unforgivable and considered lousy ettiquette is when it is someone other than your husband that wakes you up for some nookie and the sex sucks. It should be worth it.

No but it is bad etiquette for you to ask this question as it should be private between the two of you. If its not good then you should try ways to improve it !

No, it's not considered bad etiquette, it's considered "adventurous" or "playful" or "spontaneous". It IS bad etiquette to complain about it when you took an active role in it...next time give him better directions or make sure he puts more effort into foreplay.

No.. but it is very bad etiquette and just plain rude for your husband to wake you up for sex, and then say to YOU 'wow, that was bad'. Period.
ps.. to Brother Marl... oh just shut up!

Well, it's something you should speak about - who of you likes to be woken up for sex at all?
And - of course you don't know before how the sex will be - except you never have good sex with your husband.

That's between you and your husband. You make up your etiquette...that's what your mouth and ears are for...for talking about these things!
