I get bored with my hair VERY easily, and love to put funky colors in it. But seeing as I perm my hair, I don't want to damage it with all the harsh chemicals.

So, I was wondering if anyone knows of some fake hair coloring that doesn't look really fake, and make the hair "clump" together. I'd be okay with the stuff that washes out, or the kind that sprays on... it just can't be really harsh on hair.

Thanks in advance :)

Herbal Essence is ok sometimes. It just comes out in the rain.

By the way, most permanent dyes aren't all that harsh on hair. I've been dying mine for years, so has my mom and sister. My mom's actually been dying hers red for like, 30 years, and it's still perfectly fine. Just use a deep conditioner once a week, and use regular conditioner in every shower but let it sit on your hair for as long as you can (like while you shave your legs or something).

Good luck! Be creative!

Herbal Essences is good, and not too harsh, also the Natural Instincts that is good for like a month is good. Lots of colors, nice deep reds, blacks, etc.
