First of all, it was extremely rude to say that you would not find honesty, if you felt that way, why did you ask the question? Second, no, I don't work hard every day to support someone else. Relationships are partnerships, to me that means each individual giving equally. Emotionally, physically, and financially. I guess if I really loved the person and they took over ALL of the household responsibilities, then it MIGHT be OK. Honest enough?

It depends on why he wants to quit his job, and what level in the relationship. If it is a medical reason, then it should be up for discussion. If not, I would have to ask him why he wants to quit his job. Then you have to look at if we are living together, what bills we have, and how much I make. But if he just wants to quit so he can sit on his *ss all day while I work and pay the bills, then h*ll no I am not the one for that.

I'm no lady but if my girlfriend decided to quit working and became a fixture on the couch. We would have a big problem I mean who wants a unmotivated partner. These days it take two not one person doing all the work. good luck

Well honestly I was in a relationship that he worked full time and brought monies in, then we got married and he left it all up to me.. and becuase of him I think I am scared from getting involved too quickly with someone else. But I would have to know where, when, how and why they weren't working if I was to ever be in that type of relationship again where I would be half dependant on their income... so that is my honest answer ... thanks

It really does depend on the reason why he wanted to quit. If it was just for that reason alone, I would have to really consider if I wanted to be with someone like that. Me personally, I want someone who is ambitious and not lazy so it really depends on the girl. Some women don't care.

It depends hun, if he wasn't happy in his job and wanted to go in a different direction then no, I'd support him 100%... but if he just wanted to just lounge around watching day time t.v he'd be out on his ear!

My boyfriend barely works now. I'm with him because of his wit and his charm not because he's bringin home the bacon.

Depends on what his reasons are. If his reason is that he merely feels lazy, then I think we have a serious problem. If it is for health reason, I think I will support him.
