Even name of Prophets father is Abdullah, meaning slave of Allah. So it is clear Allah was used before Prophet.

Yes Allah was known before Muhammed(pbuh) (ever since the beginning with Adam(A). He created all beings. And he has no partners. And it is an Arabic word.

"Allah" is an Arabic word, a contraction of al-'ilaah that literally means "the God."
In the years before Muhammad (pbuh), reference was made to Allah, who had a female counterpart called "Allat," or "the Goddess." They were both apparently lunar deities. Both had statues present in the pre-Islamic Kaaba, which was a polytheistic shrine before its purification.
Whether or not Muhammad's (pbuh) Allah and the pre-Islamic Allah are the same deity is a matter of theological contest.

Within the Kaaba in pre-Muslim time were idols of more than 360 tribal gods. One of these gods was called Hubal (the moon god), this god was also known al-ilah. This was shortened to Allah. The Sura contains stories of Meccans praying to Allah while standing before the image of Hubal.
