For starters, it's probably best to wait until she's not stand right there with him. Keeping in mind that if there's someone else listening to you, or just standing close enough to be listening, especially his or her friends then you might as well just tell her too. Cause it's going to get back to her, only it will get filtered through all the gossip whores who will change it.

For example, if you say "I know you have a girlfriend, but I have to tell you that I really like you." If you're lucky it will get changed to something like "I know you're with that one slut, but you should totally drop her, and hook up with me." If you're not lucky, . . . well then more colorful descriptive expletives are used to describe his current girlfriend, and just how promiscuous she really is.

Keeping that in mind, you should probably stay away from things like; sky writing, loud speakers at public events, radio station announcements, scrolling text on the side of the Goodyear blimp, etc. . .

In fact, you should really consider trying to make sure she doesn't find out at all if you don't want her to get mad. Of course the only way to really ensure that she never finds out, is to not tell anyone. Which is a bit of a complicated dilemma, seeing as you do want to tell him, but you don't want her to get mad at you.

If you just don't want her mad at you, then you need to make it look like it's his fault somehow. Since every woman I've ever known or been in a relationship with has always been able to convince herself that it's somehow the guy's fault another woman was interested in him, I doubt it will be all that difficult.
