If she is an outdoor type person, take a look at Geo-caching. All you need is an inexpensive (~$75) GPS device and a Internet connection. Search the web for Geo-caching and you'll find sites that catalog caches all over the world. Basically you use the GPS to find a specific location based on it's coordinates. Usually there is a box of some thing stashed at the location with a log book, and trinkets. When you find one you log your visit, take an item and leave an item. Some of these are placed in really neat locations you never new existed. It's kind of a cross between a treasure hunt or hide and seek game and a nature hike.

Did you ever think about asking her. I find it hard to believe that you don't even know your own daughter. I would think you should stop and get to know her before it is to late. If you don't know her then it would be safe to say she doesn't know you either. Talk to her about your side of the family. Show her that you care about her as a person and as your daughter. Open the door to your heart and let her in. That would be the greatest summer she would ever want is to have her dad back into her life. I know it will be hard at first but give it a try. Then you and her can plan what you will do this summer. Make the decisions together and then do things together. Good luck and have a great summer.

Do you have any day camps in your area? Day camps are a great way to get your kid out of the house and having some outdoor fun with other children. Theres also theme parks you could go to, the zoo, the beach, hiking, etc - kids love things outdoors. If your child is kind of bookish you might wanna chekc out museums or local cultural fairs.

Depends on where you live and how much you want to spend. Disney World is a great place for people of all ages. They have so many different parks that you can spend a week there! That's what I would do. Good luck.

Send her to a girl's camp. The best you can afford. Or, if money is a problem, the YMCA have camps as do many churches and other child-oriented organizations.
Good luck.

Have you tried the local Boys & Girls club of America? I take my kids there and they absolutely love it.
