I notice a lot of people ask if someone is out there willing to talk to them, or asking if someone would like to date them or something. I know a lot of it is for fun and games, and no harm intended. I myself have had quite a few send me pics and ask if i was single or not. I was wondering, has anyone ever met someone on here, yahoo answers, and started dating them? I was wondering cause i met and started chatting with someone on here and i wondered if someone had any sucess storys

well, i wouldnt say i "met" them and started chatting. but I have started talking to someone that sounds interesting and i wondered if guys get girls to chat with them on here just to see how many girls they can get or something. I am new to talking to people on the internet and i dont know if there are any signs to look for to see if someone is lying to you are not.

actually its not pathetic to meet someone off the net , i actually met my husband off of myspace. but it is annoying when ppl post stuff on here ......they should just go to a date site or to myspace.

I didn't meet someone on Q&A, but I met someone on Yahoo! Games in 2000. We are now happily married (it's been 2 years). It was totally random, not looking. We are very happy. It was cool to chat a long time and get to know each other well before meeting. When we met two and a half years later there were no suprises. We need to go watch Sleepless in Seattle or You've Got Mail now. *sigh*

~No, I have not met anyone in Q&A.. but I did meet my current b/f in yahoo messenger... and no it's not "pathetic" as stated above. It happens to alot of people nowdays. You just need to be really careful online because people lie on here... and people might not be who they say they are.. this can also happen in real life though. Just be careful.~

Never have - never will. Online dating is dangerous - you never know who you're really dealing with. It's a lot safer to meet somebody in person, in a public place - at least you know what kind of person it is (after several public dates).

Well, i met mi friend on here(now shes like a sis) and she hooked me up with her friend. We are still goin strong after a long time (i cant remember how long, it feels like forever).
