At first I just talked to her on IM and she kept saying that she was didn't have a cell phone and was going to get a new one soon. It took way longer than she said it would to get one, but just before I was about to give up she gave me her number. But now I've tried calling several times. She never picks up and never returns my messages. I got a hold of her once, and she said she was at work and wanted to call me back some other time. That was a week ago and nothing. Kinda seems like she's avoiding me, but if so, then why did she give me her phone number??

girls will give you there number and never answer. It's normal for some of them.because they don't want to seem like jerks by telling you "no you cant have my number". find one that likes you for real and she will answer the phone.

Sounds like she was never serious in the first place and was just using you for the moment.
Move on and hopefully youll find someone else soon.

Sorry, she's avoiding you. She just doesn't like confrontation, like saying "no I don't want you to call".

not neccessarily, she probably is working really hard, and she wants to talk but on her terms and time. be careful, she sounds like a doggette to me and i am a girl
