I am buying a camera, however i can't decide which one to choose between the two models above. I would like to know if the photographs taken by those models are good or not (do these cameras take blurry photos?). Also, if someone knows a better model i would appreciate to know.

Check out the in depth reviews for those two models at
http://www.steves-digicams.com/hardware_reviews.html and http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/default.asp?view=alpha
If either of them have particular strengths or weaknesses, those reviews will point them out. If they're not good value for money, they'll even make suggestions for a better buy.

There is a lot more to cameras than megapixels. You also have to look at zoom, lens, manufacturer, and other features. In your case, I would go with the Canon. It has been my experience that Canons are some of the best cameras on the market. Canon's memory cards (I think they use SD cards) are, on the whole, cheaper then the Memory Stick Pro Duo cards than Sony uses (although memory cards everywhere are coming down in price.) I don't know that much about the particular models you mentioned, but, I would favor Canon (even though I own two Olympus cameras) over the Sony.

I own a Canon Powershot A520...I LOVE IT! I don't know how much better the SD600 would be. Check out the link ww.angelfire.com/crazy4/boxkar to see some pictures I've taken. That may help you decide between the two. (Add another w at the beginning of that address...it wouldn't let me type the whole thing)
