Its says that the wicked shall not inherit the kingdom of God nor drunkards, homosexual offenders, male prostitutes, swindlers, sexually immoral.....I Cor 6:9 Um hello the theives or swindlers that are in jail, the drunkards that are in AA, the slanderers (tabloids, politics, reputatutions, gossip or whatever creates a false or malicious statement), prostitutes get arrested too, homosexual offender is one who rapes or violates one's rights (Carl Panzram)

all the things listed here are harmful things that hurt people, if we have accepted Christ than Grace covers the homosexual people just as He covers the drunks, the theives, the slanderers, the swindlers, the male prostitutes, the adulterers, the idolaters. How can you say one thing is an abomination and wrong when plenty of other people do those other things that fall in that category?

There is a difference between an act and a lifestyle.

It's the lifestyle that is condemned on all counts (liars, thieves, drunkards, etc.).

You could be homosexual and be sexually pure by abstaining, like Christian heterosexual singles do (should do according to the scriptures), and be fine.

You have two opposing thoughts posted, so it's hard to tell whether you're for or against it. God's grace covers sins we turn from. One cannot commit to a lifestyle and simultaneously turn from it. Everyone has some sin or temptation they struggle with and must turn to God to deliver them from. No one is singled out.

Good question. My understanding is that forgiveness requires repentance, which is not only being sorry for sinning against God but also turning away from sin. How can Jesus wash away your sins if you keep wallowing in the mud?
For example, I used to be a thief. When I repented, I was sorry, and I stopped thieving, but it wasn't two separate things. The remorse was part of the repentance and so was the stopping. Homosexuals who don't want to give up their immoral behavior aren't repentant.
BTW, people in A.A. are no longer drunkards. Some of them, I am sure, are repentant.

Who's Carl Panzram?

All must Repent, that is clearly needed before forgiveness.
Not all Thieves or Swindlers are in jail. Even the ones that are, unless they have a change of heart (repent). Are Thieves and Swindlers still. The same is for Homosexuals unless they turn from their ways and ask forgiveness they will not see the Kingdom of God. The same goes for Anyone. Christians are not sinless, they are forgiven

All of these people can be saved on the conditions of repantance. They cannot be a faithful Christian while doing any of these things, and this is why they, the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. If they quit their sins, and ask Jesus for forgiveness than they may inherit the kingdom, but otherwise they will not have a place in heaven. In otherwords, homosexuals can get into heaven, as long as they have quit their sins, and repented, but if they don't they will be in the same situation as the others you listed above at the time of their deaths.

WHOA THERE PILGRIM! I agree that Homosexuality is no different than any other sin - but calling it rape? Thats overkill, sister.

Its a perverse act, it says so in the Bible - but lets not make a bad thing into something other than what it is. I do not approve of nor defend the act - but what you're saying is the same as calling a really bad car accident a major national disaster. Overkill.

Rape is rape and can be done by heterosexuals as well as homosexuals - rape is something on its own another sexual sin.., not exclusive to anyone group or race or gender.

If you're going to witness or warn others and offer salvation - keep it on track.

You are right that all of those things are sin. But remember that to God there are no 'levels' of sin. Homosexuality is just as wrong as the 'little white lie'. It is all an abomination. God's grace does cover it all, including homosexuality. But only if you repent. When one repents, they turn from the 'wicked way'. If they are truly saved, they will not continue in this practice. Sure we (as Christians) will still sin, but not without conviction from the Holy Spirit. We will still know in our heart that something that we have done is wrong.

The slanderers, thieves, adulterers ask for forgivenss and change their ways. Those who are homosexual and refuse to change (don't repent) accept it as a lifestyle and/or tell others that's how they were born.

Being a lier, thief, prostitute, etc are all lifestyle choices that people willfully make. Same as homosexuality. So why should they be given quarter b/c they choose to ignore the Word of God due to their choice?

If they choose to, they can always repent and change. If they refuse to do so, then whose fault is that?

I never said that homosexuality is an abomination. The Lord did! He said it. If the Bible said it, that settles it....In a round about way you are correct. Homosexuality is just like any other sin, lying, stealing, etc. However, the Lord hates homosexuality, as it's perverse. The Bible says that the Lord made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Jeffrey. The Bible says that a MAN and a WOMAN will leave their parents and become one. Not Adam and Stephen. He calls homosexuality an abomination. I'm not going to argue with him.

Drunkards are NOT in AA. A person in AA has a problem they are trying to CORRECT. A drunkard isn't trying to correct their problem. So aren't you as bad as the rest? Actually it said FORNICATORS, which would include homosexuals as well as anyone having sex with anyone they aren't married to. The Homosexuals are trying to make a big deal of themselves is why the Christians are so up in arms about them at the moment. Personally I think people who put G-D are afraid to put God and are just as bad as most sinners. If you accept him then why can't you admit to it. Yahoo isn't going to censor it.

I Corinthians 6:10 continues saying, " nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit god's kingdom

Galatians 5:19-21"19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, 20 idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, 21 envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom. "
