hmmmmm.......... Well i dont think u should not have it if it really is made from pork( the gelatin). Yeah u really should take it safe. But also you should call the kellogs company and ask them what source the gelatin in poptarts is from. And when u buy ur food u should always check for the U or K or better of U. ( K means kosher and U means its from vegetable product). And read the ingredients too.

There are lots of fatwas (Islamic laws) about it. Pork is Haram (banned) for Muslim regardless however you cook it. According to Islamic Law Haram = Not permissible. Halal = Permissible.

It just so happens that I have three different kinds of Pop Tarts in the house.
Since it's required by law in the U.S. to list ALL ingredients on the packaging....I just looked at all three.
Not an animal product or by-product in there.
Assorted fruit or flavorings, different grains, various vegetable oils(canola, cottonseed, palm, soybean, etc.), assorted vitamins and minerals, food colorings, cornstarch, corn syrup, fructose, dextrose, etc. No animal products.

don't eat it...otherwise you will be denied the honour of serving your husband with his 70something virgins around him after you die and go to the heavenly oasis. Stay away from it!!
