You first need to take a bus or train from Winnipeg MB to Cochrane On.. Cochrane is located on the Trans Canada Highway. (Call Grey Hound Bus Lines or CNR to find out the cost. Once in Cochrane you need to take the Polar Bear Express train from Cochrane to Moosanee. (Call Ontario Northland Railway for the cost). Moosanee is located on the mouth of the Moose River where it flows into James Bay.The rail line ends at Moosanee. There are no roads up there. You get there by train or float plane only. Once there there is no "official" ferry service but there are some charter boats and coastal supply boats you can usually get on that travel through James Bay and into Hudson Bay. You Should know that this is the 2nd largest country in the world and the trip you are talking about covers a great deal of it. It will take at least 2 days just to get from Winnipeg to Cochrane. Another day from Cochrane to Moosanee. And a trip all the way around James and Hudson Bay will take weeks. Good luck on your project.

If the fairy will keep quiet then you can hide her in your knapsack and you will only have to pay for your ticket. I don't know how much they eat so that might get expensive! There is probably a web site for the Traveling Garden Gnome, may be you can get some advice there.

It would not cost that much just hide the fairy in your pocket.
