Classic stereotyping! Not all Christians are against birth-control. In fact, I think Catholics are one of the few religions against any form of birth control. Some "Christians" have the attitude you describe, but no-one in my very religious family ever did! I've only met a handful of men with that attitude!
And it seems men who don't want to pay child support would be the first to support abortion.
It's odd how you call the fetus "balls of cells." Would you ridicule a pregnant woman for having an ultrasound picture framed?

I'm anti-choice, and I dont use biblical means to show my point. I'm against abortion, but I'm also for control of women. I actually wish more people would use birth control and condoms and such. Abortion is not a form of birth control, and that is how it is being used. And since when do I listen to what society says? And it is murder, because if women would just keep their legs closed, they wouldnt have to kill an innocent being that had no choice in whether it got to live or not.

As a woman, a Christian, and a scientist, I believe that life begins at conception, and that abortion is murder.
By the time a woman knows she is pregnant, that "ball of cells" already has a heartbeat...
Science hasn't proved that it's not murder. The fertilized egg is human, and is alive. That much is not contested. The part that is contested is whether or not it is a "person".
I don't believe in birth control being passed out at school, since that encourages premarital sex, which is also wrong.

Wow, loaded question. Anti-choice people generally are the same people who are also against birth control. They feel that the only purpose for sex is having children, and that once a child is conceived (heck, some feel that the once the sperm is released), that those lives are as important as ours to protect from "murder".
The bible states that it is a sin for a man to waste his "seed", i.e. to masturbate. However, times were way different then. There wasn't over-population, there was under population, and it was you duty to get the world populated with Christians, not mess around and waste the opportunity.
Now that we have trouble feeding the world's population, I think things have changed, but some people's attitudes have not, because they listen to the words of people who lived in a different time, and in some ways, a different world.

most religions do not believe in birth control, thats the main problem, people are going to have sex no matter what, and because of religious beliefs, some people feel abortion should become law.sex education is a good thing but somehow always gets shot down, where is the sense in that?schools around the country should offer sex counseling and pass out contraception, period.parental counseling and learning to become a better parent is probably the only way to get kids to stop having babies.yes,it is a control issue also

How do you know that ALL are against every other form of birth control?
Hey, if saying 'that "science" and "society" have proved its not murder' is enough to allow you pro-death people to sleep at night, then that's cool.

It just goes to show just how irrational these people are.
I've often thought exactly that.
They have absolutely no understanding about the matter. Their wonderful ideas are just not practical. Every child deserves quality of life, its morally abhorrent to have a child and not have the means financially, emotionally to give the best to a child.
As far as the control issue - yes - they want to control everyone, they want their Utopian Christian world, basically their fascists.

Of course there's going to be some people (probably the higher up leaders in the movement) who just want more control over women and then a lot of "bandwagoners" basically.

against murder, not control of woman. and science and society havent proved this isnt murder. and society is the worst judge of all. look at Sodom, Gomorrah, what they did they were ok with, was that meaning it was ok, NO! look at Nazi germany that society beleived mass killing of others was ok, again a society can be really wrong in there beleifs.

as a woman: my opinion is that when the baby has a choice then we can talk.
if you are serious, read up how they kill them.
God said He knitted us together in the womb. all life is precious in His sight
of course science and society have proved that it is not murder, that's for their own conscience.
what is wrong, is wrong, no matter what colour they paint it.
