Love has no consideration for age. However it is a well established fact that women mature 3 years earlier than men. There would be a wide difference in the preception of the person whose mental age is 46 and that of 32 years. Therefore the age difference of 14 years could be problematic to both persons in about 10 years. It is not advisable to go into such a love affair.

No. I certainly have been on both sides of this argument over my 40 + years on earth. But I've decided that in the end, compatibility and love have nothing to do with being the same age, so who cares how old the person is.
I have dated women who were 15 years younger, and women 10 years older. Both were great experiences (I ultimately married someone about 10 years younger).
The only reason same age relationships are beneficial is that it allows you to grow old together. Since women tend to live 5 or so years more than men, I guess a woman being about 5 years older is optimal for that purpose.
But not everyone is lucky enough to fall in love with a similarly aged person. So don't feel ugly, feel smart you are not letting something trivial come between you and someone you really enjoy being with.

Nothing run if the 2 (assuming if you don't mean a cheating affair).
The older you get, age is less of an issue . Your both adults so what does it matter.

I guess only if either of you is married, as is implicit with the word affair that you've used. If not, it's totally up to the two of you. Don't worry about the opinions of others. Live your own life.

No. They are both consenting adults. My husband is ten years older than me. I was 24 when we married. It's been a good thing so far. I don't think age is as important as other things.

Well, yes, kind of... I mean, well , maybe not... Actually, um... First of all, yes, age matters, and second, I'm not sure if it's wrong or not, but it doesn't seem exactly right. If you can see, this is a hard question to answer... I'm sorry if I wasn't helpful, but I will say it's confusing.

Of course not. You're both adults, and if you are attracted to one another and get along, who gives a hamster's tushy how old you are? It's not as though 11 years is enough to create a huge divide socially, physically, culturally, whateverally, in and of itself; at least, not at your ages.

Not really, they're both old enough to where it doesn't really matter anymore. If they were younger, yeah, it'd be a bit creepy/illegal (like if they were 11 and 22)

I am not willing to set a precedent here. Never know when I might be attracted to a younger man.
Still, you can take anything to extremes. Let's hope I'm never attracted to a man more than, let's say...ten years my junior?
