Try to find a common interest as in a sport or hobby and try to let him know that you like the same thing as him, that will let him know that you exist, and if you do not want to start the conversation then show up at a sporting event where he will be at so that it will not be as bad.

well now that your in seventh grade...i think your mature enought to make sure he knows how you feel about him....depends on the type of person you are...shy? or outgoing?..........either ways whats the rush?
