I agree, Ensure will definately help. They have bars and shakes...and you also might want to try to build muscle mass...of course...me no idea how to do that. I guess you have to do a little bit of weight lifting too.

First off you have to distinguish between good weight (muscle mass) and bad weight (fat). Just eating more food to gain weight will only result in gaining fat, though I doubt that you have much problem burning it off since you are genetically predisposed to being thin. The only real way is for you to begin a weight training program. Muscles are more dense than fat, and therefore adding muscle mass will increase your overall weight without making you look big. Gaining muscle mass is not easy, nor is it fast unless you use steroids (which is crazy and stupid for health reasons). I would suggest emphasing working on the leg muscles the most (leg press, squats, dancing, aerobics) since these are the largest muscles and will grow the fastest. That said, since you are a girl, your body does not produce a lot of testosterone and therefore you will not gain a lot of muscle mass. After one year of very intense weight training you might gain up to 5 pounds of muscle. My only suggestion would be to be patient and lower your expectations for how long this process takes. Get in the gym, start lifting weights, and if you stick to it, the results will come. But it will not be over night.

If you wan't to obtain weight, and construct muscle. You do not wan't to only over devour with junk meals. This will obviously makeyou fatter, and dangerous. But if you happen to wan't to obtain muscle you are going to need to drink a few top protein drink's, shakes, meals. Peanut Butter & Jelly I feel might be a well begin. The Peanut Butter will furnish you with Protein, at the same time the Jelly has lot's of High Fructose, and Sugars, to support placed of the load. You would possibly wan't to determine out a few low priced CVS Pharmacy over-the-counter forms of common herb drugs to support help the muscle groups. I cannot feel of any names of those forms, however I do realize they exist, I've heard of men and women taking them, and had well outcome whilst taken more commonly.

The reason for your situation is a result of your metabolism being high and/or not consuming enough calories. Once, your metabolism slows down you will gain weight at a fast rate. I would suggest eating 5 meals a day (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner). Once your metabolism slows down you will gain weight and need to do cardio.

Go on a diet. Reduce your caloric intake for a few weeks. Go off the diet and eat what you want. You will gain weight.
