Hi,
Well, some people are stupid that way. I, myself, think we are all equal. But apparently some people don't. But you have to get over that because people are truly screwed up that way (by making fun of others without feeling guilt). But you HAVE to remember you're not the bottom of the totem pole. I don't understnad why you said people who are a little bigger have a better sense of humor, though. That's not necessarily true.
But, I give you the best of wishes! There is nothing wrong w/ having a few extra pounds! =)
*remember that just having a few extra pounds doesn't limit you from your goals.

There is nothing wrong with a few extra pounds and if someone has made you feel like you are then there is something wrong with them. You don't want anyone to like you for your looks. What if you were skinny and someone was with you because of that reason, then if you were in a accident or burned what would happen? You want someone to be with you or treat you for you not for your looks. I've got a few extra pounds and wouldn't let someone bring me down. First you've got to love yourself. If you don't do this then it will be hard for someone else to acknowledge you. From what I see in today's society there are thicker women and alot of men like it. I feel as if someone is looking at you for your looks then there not that mature anyway. We don't want that. Don't let anyone put you at the bottom of the totem pole. Keep your head up and don't let anyone get a shot at you to bring you down. Stick with the people that enjoy you and love you for who you are.

First of all, the bottom of the totem pole is where the MOST respected people go. And second, being over weight shows that you don't respect your body. It's the only one you got so treat it right! You don't have to be a stick because that's no better, but how can a guy respect you when you don't respect yourself?

I guess I'm shallow, because besides working hard, being nice and professional, I also like to stay in shape. I don't eat many things I'd like to, but I do enjoy a small snack every so often. I exersize as much as I can, and if I don't, I feel guilty because I know I can do better. Some people just have different priorities, and mine may be different than some. Anyway, if I take good care of myself, I'd like to be around someone who feels the same way. Even a few extra pounds on my own body bugs me.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a few extra pounds. All the good guys that I've encountered in my life didn't care about a few extra pounds. Trust me... you don't want a guy who's hung up on how the woman on his arm looks.
PS Age is the great equalizer... even the hotshots end up wrinkly one day lol.

i absolutely agree with you. up until high shcool i was always made fun of because i was a few pounds over weight and it took me a year and a half of self-conciousness and no confidence to realize that people are idiots and i shouldn't stand for being on the bottom of the totem pole. so good for you!! i give you a standing ovation for you intelligent and true words.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with having extra pounds. I gained more than 10 pounds in a month and people noticed and I didn't really care cause I liked how looked, and if I liked it that's all that should ever matter.

Many men like a woman with some substance to them. Women are striving to be too thin today. But being healthy is very important.
Women seek a man who has to potential to provide a home for her and her children, usually. Men want a woman who is healthy enough to take care of the task of caring for their home.
Some women are so heavy they can't even bath their children in a tub because it's too painful to get on the floor to wash them. They also are too heavy to clean house, have a normal relationship and demonstrate self control.
Excess in any area is unhealthy. Do all things in moderation.

well, you have the personalitie and all that but you also need to look at your self, realise that you're a little shubby and start making your body look good.a woman's body is a great work of art but if you start not caring about it it will become something else.a womans body should be slim and natural.Fat is stored energy that your body isnt using at the moment but it will use it when its really needed.so you have extra energy that the body isnt using,so if thats not being used just get rid of it.also,us,men have an attraction for thin women, its just like a little bird whistling to get its mate,if that little bird doesnt whistle then it wont get the mate.same with women and men,we have to take care of our selves also.i would sudgest you lose some pounds and look good.you will be alot more happier than just having a nice personality.
