I don't think so. They believe in Biblical inerrancy. I disagree with the CoC belief that you must be baptized in order to be saved - baptism is an act of obeisance and public declaration of being saved. I also disagree that one can lost their salvation. If someone who was "saved" to begin with is no longer saved, they probably weren't really saved to begin with. As far as Pentecostals, I also have no grievance with them They are Bible believers. And who is to say that speaking in tongues is not viable even if I have never witnessed it nor experienced it? Who am I to limit what tools God uses and gifts He bestows?

The church of Christ and Pentecostals are completely different. I don't know much about church of Christ, but the Pentecostals are definitely not a cult.

I'm an athiest but my wife goes to the Church of Christ. They don't do anything weird. They just follow the bible and don't make up rules that aren't there.

All organized religions are cults, promoting their own agendas, doctrines and dogma.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't follow one, just do lots of research and pick the one that suits you best, if you feel the need to belong to an organization.
