The biggest names in Boxing right now are:
Floyd Mayweather - By far I think the biggest name in boxing right now.
Arturo Gatti - People will cheer for "Blood and Guts" no matter what, just watch him box and you'll understand.
Ricky Hatton - British version of Gatti, if he fights, you know theres going to be pain and blood.
James Toney, Wladimir Klitchko, Hasim Rahmin - The two best Heavyweights fighting right now. Heavyweights fights are always a big draw no matter how crappy they are.
Jermaine Taylor - Best Overall Middleweight Boxer currently.
Oscar De La Hoya - One of the most popular fighters of all time, but on the decline due to lack of fights, and also loss to Hopkins.
Manny Pacquiao - The most original boxing style in the past 20 years. His fights are always Fast, Offensive, and has lots of knock outs.
Diego Corrales - Watch his first fight with Luis Castillo, man... That was bloody, possibly the best fight I've ever seen. People are lining up for a big payday to fight with Corrales.
Erik Morales and Marco Barrera - These featherweights always have very entertaining fights, never fail to disappoint.
Some Honorable Mentions that are Current on the boxing scene are: Antonio Tarver, Glen Johnson, Roy Jones Jr, Samuel Peters, Luis Castillo, Jeff Lacy, Winky Wright, Felix Sturm, Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Miguel Cotto, Acelina Freitas, Rocky Juarez to name a few.
Obviously there are some that have been left off, however that's about the gist of the big name fighters that I can think of.
Hall of Fame inductees for 2005 are:
This year's living inductees were featherweight Bobby Chacon, junior welterweight Duilio Loi, featherweight Barry McGuigan, junior middleweight Terry Norris, matchmaker Don Fraser and writer Bert Sugar.

Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather is hands down the best boxer in the world right now. The biggest draw however is still Oscar De La Hoya. Those two are supposed to fight soon depending on what De La Hoya announces at his upcoming press conference.
