We have an ongoing debate at work. What's better on a PBJ- Jam, or Jelly? Personally, I go with the thinnest layer of jelly possible and gobs of peanut butter. My co-workers argue for the fruit chunks inherent in Jam. I think they have delusions about the health factor of fruit chunks pickled in syrup, but that's me. What do you think, and why?

Medium PB (super chunky)...then dump the jar of jelly on top. Stop piling on the jelly when it starts dripping off the sides. You can also create a pool of jelly by mortaring up the sides of your bread with little peanut butter walls to contain extra jelly. Doesn't taste right? Probably needs yet more jelly.

Peanut Butter AND Strawberry Jam...it has a better consistency than that of say, Grape Jelly and personally, I think it's tastier.

Jam... a PBJ NEEDS fruit chunks!
And, personally, I would think that jam is healthier than jelly... I don't know why, it just seems instinctive.

PB&J is my little ones. My pal who went to Europe became scared she wasn't going to love the nutrition so she introduced peanut butter. besides peanut butter and jelly sandwiches is scrumptious and you have no longer lived except you attempt it. Ohh this feels like even a greater unusual blend yet you could desire to attempt waffles with peanut butter and maple syrup :)

Definitely jam. It's much more flavorful and gives a great texture with the peanut butter. My favorite is blackberry jam. Yummy!

Fresh white bread (medium sliced), covered with a good layer of crunchy peanut butter, and a thin layer of seedless raspberry jam spread on top.
