a pimp is a brutal coward..too lazy to work..so he puts men, boys..women, and girls..out on the street to make money providing sexual services. some pimps are parents..spouses and or so called boyfriends. to say a pimp provides their workers with shelter and protection is not true. the prostitute earned the money in the first place. you have to be cold hearted to put someone out..there and leech off of them. real pimps.. will put their own mother out there if the money is right. what scum. it is not true that all women pimped have a choice..either. some have low self esteem.. some are addicts.. some have kids held hostage.. some are trying to get quick money to get an education.. and yes..a few learn to like the excitement. not many. but some.

Whats a pimp? A pimp is one who has hookers working under them, and the hookers go out and do the dirty deed, and then thay have to turn in so much money to the pimp, so the pimp makes his money, in return for this, the pimp looks out for her, supports her, feeds her, houses her, etc.....

I was watching the screen the other day and saw a show called "Pimp my Ride." In the show they take your car away and make it into this fabulous ride. In real life they take the girl away and make her into this desireable package. In the show, this guy, Jake - whatever his name is represents the stud. In real life he is referred to as the "pimp." In the show they make the ride attractive to whomever happens to be watching at the time. In real life they pimp the girl to make her parts seductive. In the show the advertisers pay. In real life the payment is cash to the ride and the pimp takes his cut.

The literal definition of a pimp is a man who is in charge of several hookers and takes their money when they turn tricks. Why it became ghetto slang for a cool guy, I will never know.

A person who requires money from another person who the first person mentioned makes the second person mentioned preform (usually) sex acts for money. ** I also watched the same document on the bunny ranch and prostitution is legal in Nevada so technically they are not prostitutes and he would be the ranch owner.

Now it is used alot as a phrase which I dont get, but originally it was a man who "managed" hookers and took some of their cash to "take care of them".
