stop getting up to feed him. Let him cry it out. Its not gonna be easy and there will probably be a few sleepless nights in the process, but once he learns it's not gonna get him anywhere he'll stop.

until eventually you a get him to eat more effective in the course of the day then there isnt plenty you may do, i agree the cry it out approach wont paintings as he's waking because he's hungry. are you able to advance the energy he receives in his sunlight hours foodstuff? Does he have the formula for hungry children? those are full of more effective energy too. I dont comprehend what solids he receives yet look into giving him more effective filling issues and note if this works. children frequently bypass by boom spurts and eat like horses for a lengthy time period so i reckon this would cool down. I guess next time he's weighed he has received plenty. good success x

You do just that .. Stop feeding him in the middle of the night ..
My doctor suggested putting water in her bottle at night and when they wake up and realize they're not getting formula that most children will eventually just not wake up at all ...
It's hard to listen to them cry but it's not going to hurt them. A few nights without the bottle will do the trick !

At 14 mos he probably just needs some attention.... how about letting him sleep with you? I GUARANTEE that eventually he will WANT to have his own "big boy" bed.
As the father of more than a couple of kids I can tell you that "letting him cry it out" is NOT necessary. He needs your love and nurturing, not you ignoring his wants. Comfort your baby... at 14 mos he STILL needs your comfort.... its not like he's ready to go out and get a job.

At his age he should already be off formula and be drinking regular milk, or juice. Don't put him to bed with a bottle either. He's too old for a bottle; he really should have a sippy cup. NO FORMULA!!!!!!!!!!!

He may be waking because he is thirsty. try putting a bottle of water close by for him to find. Or it could just be him seeking attention, try ignoring him, its hard, but after a week or so, he'll realise mummy isn't going to come and he'll be sleeping through.

You stop breast feeding him less and less intil hes more use to a sippy. Don't stop to soon because I heard you can get breast infections from not stopping gradually but should be accoplished this in maybe a month or two. Hopefully.
