The link shows one version of a memory trick for remembering numbers that really works. About 40 years ago I needed to remember the extension number of a fellow worker for a very important call and update. The number translated to "royal chap" (or 4569). I'll never forget the number although I can't remember the chap's name for the life of me. This works great for license plate numbers and combination locks and even making numbered lists. Good luck.
