From my experience, you probably will acquire a taste for it. My grandfather used to make home wine and that's what my family started me on. We did the same thing with my cousin a few years ago (she's 17) and she didn't like the taste then but every now and then (at Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc), she will ask if she can have a glass of wine with her meal.

However, if you don't - no big worry. There is definitely a lot of other stuff out there that you can try.

You will definitely acquire a taste for it as not only as you get older but the more drink it. The trick is to find someone who knows a lot about wine and drink it with them, wine is not just about the flavor it is about the history of the wine. How much work went into drinking that glass you are drinking exactly what kind of grapes were used. As your appreciation for wine and the work that goes into grows so will your taste for it.

I have a vague answer, maybe and maybe not. Wine is all about the taste buds, the nose and pallet. I don't like red dry wines as a rule. But I do enjoy several white wines. Keep tasting and you will probably run across one that you will enjoy drinking. One of my favorite wines is put out by Woodbridge (California Chardonnay). It has a fruity, tropical taste, with vibrant aromas. Another one I like is put out by Caprock, (a Texas wine) "Rose of Syrah", a champayne colored wine, that is enhanced by a rich smoky violet rendetion. Of course, there are some really expensive wines I love, but way to expensive, so I usually don't go there, except for special occasions. Truth be known, I am still a sucker for Boone's Farm Wine. Now that taste like "highschool, drive-ins, and forbidden parties at the lake"!!!LOL

Taste buds do change with age. Well, maybe not the taste buds but your pallet will expand. Just like you may have not liked spicy foods as a young kid and now enjoy a hot taco or spicy curry you might also learn to appreciate the flavors in wine later on too.

There are SO many wines out there it's hard not to find one you like. But wait until your older - when your pallet has matured - and of course when you're of legal drinking age.

Probably not. I have always loved wine, but I have always hated beer. I love the smell of beer, but hate the taste. Why bother trying to like something you don't. Find something else you like (besides you are a teen and shouldn't be drinking anyway), and have that. Who cares what other people drink, drink what you like.

lol, I did. You have to start out slowly, it grows on ya. Find someone who knows there way around a wine rack, and can show you how to pair wine with food. Honestly, I have had alot of fun learning wines. Good Luck.

as you try it and learn about it and where it comes from and how it's made, I think you'll acquire a taste for it. But wait until you're old enough to drink.
