Adult mothers....??

Question

I am 17 years old and my mom acts very immature. She tells my sister that i am too young to sleep over my boyfriends house and I tried telling her if she doesnt like it than wont she tell me. She says im going to be the next one in my family to end up pregnant. If she is really concerned then i told her wont she take me to the doc and get me on birth control. She doesnt talk to me so therefore i will do as i please, but asap i will get on birth control, im old enough to take care of that my self. but what do you think my moms problem is?? Is she upset because im just getting older??
She always gossiping about my relationship, besides talking to me she tells other people that she dont like the fact that my bf is 19 yrs old and he has a baby mama. She doesnt want him with me but she doesnt tell me this she dont even try to talk to me. And its not like i catch attitude with her i try and talk to her like a mature young lady. I think she's jealous, what do yall think??

I don't think she is jealous or immature I just think she doesn't want to get in to a fight with you because you sound immature to me. You should respect your mother no matter what her opinion is, she did give birth to you. If you are old enough to be having sex then go and get on birth control or use condoms. My two girls were not allowed to sleep over at their boyfriends until they were out of my house and if they did I sure didn't want to know about it! They were taught to be nice young ladies and to take care of themselves as far as birth control goes. I don't encourage young people to have sex but if you are going to please have some kind of birth control because there are too many young people having babies that are not ready to be parents. She is probably not upset that you are growing up just the way you are going about doing the growing. A mother only wants what is best for her children so please remember this and give her the respect she deserves.

Think about if you were a mother of a teenage girl, would you want her staying at her boyfriend's house at such a young age? No. Would you want the best for her? Yes.

Your mother is just looking out for you and trying to make sure that you don't ruin your life by having a baby with a guy you're not guaranteed to end up with. Slow down and take the time to think about the situation and if it was reversed and you were the mother of a girl just like you.

on d fast track slow ^ U got plenty of time for these things. no
matter how much u think u know a guy and they will neva leave you or your child ur wrong. i have 2 kids and

We'll lets see your 17 and your mother allows you to stay the night at a man's house with whom you admit to sleeping with. This guy is 19 and already has a child which means He isn't responsible with protecting his partners because I guarentee that wasn't planned .. and your not on birth control... I'd say she has a valid argument but if she cant control you it's as much her fault as yours for allowing that kind of behavior. ...
