When I was in high school, I used to stand in the door, and watch a lot of dumb asses commence running after the tary bell sounded, what's the point if you are already late?

Well, I have the guts to punish, in my high school, our principal had a no tardy policy, and if you we're you had detention hall. . .I will be a teacher in 1.5 years, and I ain't scared to punish no damn body!!!!

There is no adequete punishment for being tardy anymore. Educators are not allowed to have the guts to be tough anymore. Our soceity will pay for it, just stay tuned.

Good question. I was never really late for class though. The one time I was I fell asleep in history class while watch a movie (go figure) and I herd the bell ring and I picked my head up real fast and realized it was the tardy bell the teacher looked at me and said 'Fell asleep didn't you" so I picked up my books walked to my next class and walked right to my seat which was at the back of the class and set down and the teacher never knew I was 2 mins. late for class.

I had teachers who had the 1 minute policy, if you were in while the bell was ringing or a minute after you were off the hook. That's just a tactic to make them hustle up. Plus it looks worse and worse to come in any later; if they come in early they can slip in and the class is still standing and unpacking and its easy to not get noticed.

Because if they ran before the tardy bell then they would be early. The only entrance is a slightly late, but grand entrance.

I never did. If I was late, I would just skip that class, go get something to eat, and come back to the next one with plenty of time to be on time.

because if you come right after the bell rings the teacher wont mark u late. if you came minutes after then the teacher wont b as lenient

SO U WON'T BE LATE. if u run to ur next class, there's a chance that the teacher mite not notice ur late.

i think the answer why they do that is simply because they think that maybe they can get away with out having to get a tardy note
