Juba, that's bull s*it and you know it. Look at any headlines around the globe today, "22 Iraqi civilians killed..." They are attacking civilians! Militant Muslims want only one thing, convert or be killed. The vast majority of the civilized world agrees to disagree - to a point. We in the United States can put aside our differences long enough to keep the streets relatively safe, provide fire fighters, military, schools, etc. I spent a year in Iraq as a combat infantryman and these Shi'ite, Sunni, and Kurds all believe the others are dogs. They refuse to work together for BASIC needs of their countryman/kids/family.

Al-Zarqawi didn't want peace, he wanted to slaughter anyone and everyone. Look who sold his *** out? It was one of his own boys! His brutality and ignorance only alienated his comrades.

I don’t know what “piffy” means but yes, I support the war on terror. The United States (as well as other countries) have been attacked many times. Primarily the terrorists have intentionally targeted civilians. Women and children. Where they have had control of countries they do not believe in equal rights for all. That is, only men who believe as they do. Punishment of those who do not follow their rules receive the most barbaric of punishments.

The current President is following his Constitutionally delegated responsibility of going after those who would attack our country and people. It is too bad that some past presidents didn’t follow such Constitutional dictates, if they had we wouldn’t have the mess we have today.

The theroy behind it is sound, you can't just let someone walk into your house and slap your wife, but it has gotten a little out of control. On September 12th 2001 our nation's government had to come out of it's shell and again show our enemies why we are the world superpower. We went into Iraq with guns blazing in an effort to liberate all who were living under the "reign of terror" and then what...

This is a war on terror. We are fighting terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan, not here in America. We are keeping them occupied on their own turf. People talk of the terrorists being freedom fighters fighting for their country. Wasn't al-Zarqawi from Syria? Most of the "insurgents" are foreign fighters. We even have American citizens fighting our forces over there. So, instead of fighting them (reacting to attacks) in America, we are fighting and killing them on foreign land.
