As a result of mankind's fall into sin, all creation unwillingly submitted to "the slavery of decay, and groans and suffers till now" (Rom. 8:22). The time will come in which mankind and the entire material world will be purified and renewed. This will occur on the last day, following the Universal Judgment, and it will happen by means of fire. As the world that existed before the deluge was purified from sin by means of the flood, likewise "the present heaven and earth," St. Peter teaches, "are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men … [On that] day … the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up … Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells" (2 Pet. 3:7-13).
The fact that the present temporary world will be transformed was predicted many centuries before Christ by the Psalmist who said: "Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, all of them will grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will have no end" (Ps. 102:25-27). In other words, the end of the world will not be its destruction but its total renewal.

No-one knows when the earth will end. The Bible says he will come like a thief in the night. The rapture will come and take all the believers and then the 7 years of Tribulation will start and the non- believers will have a second chance to know God before his second coming. At the end of the 7 years God and all the angels and the ones ruptured will come back to earth and live eternally with God. Those that chose him during the tribulation will also be here and the others will be in hell for eternal life.
read the series Left Behind. It is very good and tells what will happen from the rapture on.

At 2 Timothy 3:1-5 describes the "last days", and Jesus said what to look for when the "last days" arrive. (Matthew 24: 3-31). The bible also states that Jesus does not know when the end will come, only his father does, but as a thief in the night it will come. You're cordially invited to the "Deliverance At Hand" convention going on now. It will talk about when the end is coming. Also, when the bible speaks of the "end" it is referring to the wicked system of things (wicked people) being destroyed, not the literal earth, since God made the earth for people to inhabit it.

the bible does not say the earth with end, it says this world will end (this worldly system of things) (1John 2:16,17) Read Matthew chapter 24 where Jesus talks about signs of the last days. Also read Psalms chapter 37:9-11 meek ones will inherit the earth and reside forever upon it.
Also, look at 2 Timothy 3:1-5 personality of the last days, which is all happening now. We are in the last days. Armageddon can happen anytime

The Bible does not tell when the earth will end, it just warns us to be ready at any moment. The Bible says that even Jesus Christ does not know the time. We only have the promise that it will not be destroyed with floods again.
Jesus loves you.

6,130 years after Eden, Rev.17:1-6,10-14[The world that Satan has been in was #1 to #5, when Jesus faced Satan in Rome #6, Matt.4:1-11; Jesus was crucified and ascended to heaven in year 33, John was on Patmos in Rome #6, Satan will be in #7 until it is complete, the bible in #7 will be 303 years old and an excepted translation for the last days that Satan will be in the 8th before Jesus second coming to end the 8th as Rev.20:1-6; He puts Satan in the pit and this ends the world that has existed for man born in sin to die because of Satan[even Jesus did this Heb.2:9,14,16]; Jesus does away with death and the one that caused it. Thus the old world is gone];
Matt. 24:3,7,14,15,22,36[Only God knows the day and hour this world ends, but Satan has 6,130 years from Eden, unless God cuts it short];
Eph.3:21; Jesus bring eternity and his worl never ends, There will be a new heaven and a new earth. 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5;
The whole time from Eden to all is made new is 7,130 years, ending Christ reign when he turns all back over to God as perfect as it was in Eden before Satan cause sin.
1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

A minimum of 1007 years. 7 years for the Tribulation, then the 1000 year kingdom followed by the end and remaking of Earth.

According to the Bible, the earth will end when God the Father decides it's time. Even Jesus doesn't know, nor does any man. Eschatology is all guesswork.

There is no set date- many people have tried to say they know when it will be and it hasn't come to pass. The Bible says that no one except the Father knows when it will be. It will happen in the blink of an eye.
