best you can hope for on black hair is a tint or a highlight, BUT if you get Special Effects, they have ones that glow under black-light, that would be cool, black hair, then hit the lights, and it's orange ! the only way you're going to get it to really show up would be to bleach your hair first, then could always use a black dye to cover it up if you go tired of it .....

No, you must bleach your hair first, and because you're going from a black to a golden brown, you will also need to tone your hair as it will get brassy and orange. This is not a good idea if you only want this color for a short time, as bleaching your hair will damage it, and to color your hair back to black will further do so. I would suggest a wig, maybe?

If you have put black color on most likely no that dark of a color stains the hair making it impossible for color, that does not lift color lighten you can try it but most likely it will not have a good result my advice is to get hi lites with bleach that is and slowly lift the color

I have black hair that has been dyed over and over to keep it shiney. My original color id dark brown and I want to go back to brown unstead of black. I dyed it a dark brown color and now my hair looks red in the light. Looks like I am going to go back to black, not a big fan of the red. I wish there was another option!!!

Not so much. But you could opt for getting different coloured foils put through your hair and they would show up real nice on 'dark' hair. Ask at the salon is probably best.

ya , you can get black cherry, so that your hair has a red tent to it, or there is one that has a blue tent to it as well, but that is all your going to be able to do unless you bleach your hair and re dye it.
