The gospel tracts that you mention are short vignettes about the history or applicability of scripture to every day life. They are as effective as the prayers that follow them and the power of the H.S. that goes over them when they are placed. Sometimes a short story can go a long way towards converting someone to an idea. All it takes is one scripture to make the difference. What is their faith like? Answer, see what they have done with Jesus.

Gospel tracts is a great way of telling others about Jesus. When i first got saved I was shy. Everytime I would try to witness to someone I would freeze. I just couldn"t get the words out about Jesus. I started giving people gospel tracts. Some even came to church. I even put them in my bills when i mailed them. As I grew in the Lord, He Gave me the assurance that He was with me. I now go out and tell the world about Jesus, and how to be saved. I still mail out tracts, and hand them out.

Yes. You're referring to Chick tracts? I have seen them since I was a kid, and I found them very convicting. Then again, I was already a Christian. Some of them can really drive the point home, although some are a bit hokey. In the end, if you are asking if they're worth putting out there, I would say yes.

Only for those who are searching for what you have to say, yes. Its a hit and miss thing, if you don't go out and pass out tracts you won't help anyone, but you will get alot of derogatory and unwelcome comments as well as some uplifting ones.
However, only you can decide if your time, effort and trouble are worth helping someone else find they answers they made need. If you don't help them, who will : )

Yes,they are very effective especially the ones for Halloween and other events of the year. They convinced me when I was a teenager to remain focus on the things of God. My brother used to collect them as if they were comic books. I would advise every christian use these tools for evangelism not just for younger people but for adults also. God Bless!

I wish that they were becuase it is a lot easier to hand a person a flier than to really attract that person to Jesus through personal interaction. But I believe that God uses people in one anothers' lives in a profound manner that brings about true repentance and faith. I believe that God also uses His inspired word to cut peoples hearts, but our modern books and fliers dont compare to the Bible. Even in high school I used to put tracks in people's lockers, and would hand them out as well. But my personal growth and faith was inspired by godly men around me. There is no substitute for a godly example in one's life. I think that is why Jesus personally spent so much time with his disciples. Relationships are God's tool to bring about so much in our lives. Acts 8 (conversion of the Ethiopian) is a good example of God calling believers to sit down personally and explain the scriptures to those who want to learn. In fact, all of Acts is that story!
Hope this helps and inspires you!

Yes; I know they are. I'm a witness. As teenagers we used to laugh at them but they planted a seed in me that, by the grace of God, grew and blossomed later.
