a lot of people will tell you that their is no purpose to this because of all of the evil in the world. I believe that Heavenly Father sent us here with a plan in mind. and the main part of that plan was for us to use our free agency. Because it is by our choices that grow and learn. Therefore; he wants us to grow and learn and better ourselves. Too many people these days don't want to take responsibility for their decisions so they so it's god fault or they say their is no God at all. Their is a God, and He loves us, but what good would it do us if he took our free agency away, then we would be prisoners, we are not prisoners, we are his children, and I am sure that it saddens HIm to see us making so many poor choices, just like it would sadden any parent, Our job is to choose good, love, mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, even though people are still choosing evil. Their is a purpose, and it's pretty simple when you stop and think about it, Good Question!

I wasn't aware "all this" needed a purpose behind it - I just figured all this could be applied anywhere, anytime, and for any reason - up front, off to the side, main course, in the middle, or behind - never thought of "all this" as being limited. Let's face they're just two words!

No, the universe has no purpose. Purpose is a purposeless word created by a purposeless human mind to explain a purposeless universe.

WEll if you mean life by all this the answer is quite simple. The purpose is life is to create more life.
So the purpose of your life is to create and nurture. Life begets life and your job is to make sure you create more lif by nurturing yourself and your offspring.

Like all animals, we are genetically programmed to reproduce. Then we die. Which is sadly why man needed to create a god. It's a truth that the weak and the gullible find hard to swallow.

You could add questions that you don't know the answer to to your watch list and learn something or get new perspectives. You could maybe give a decent answer to someone but you're not going to get paid if that's what you're after.
