as all walls are facing south, the house must be built at the north pole, therefore the bear is a polar bear and most likely a white one

EVERYONE THAT ANSWERED WHITE IS WRONG!!! Sorry, but a poler bear's fur is not actuallly white; it is transparent. The color you see is actually an optical illusion.
