I dated my husbands best friend before I met him, and well we are all still really good friends. But I just resentally found out that he had been telling our group that I was some syco girlfriend who wouldnt stop talking about marriage, when he was the one who was doing all the talking. now I havent said anything, but I dont know if i should, should I risk a good friendship just to prove I am in the right? what should I do?

My ex is still best friends with my husband and all my other friends that we hang out with, so I still have to deal with him.

I'd talk to him directly. Tell him that you've been hearing these things and that you would like him to stop. Don't point fingers, just ask him to keep the past in the past, or else the friendship will have to end. (Because, in all honestly, he's not being a friend.)

no don't bother, if someone asks you tell them the truth (but don't any of these good friends already know what happened), either way it will just start an awful back biting story telling game that you can't win, tell your husband and beyond him dont worry about anyone else.

No, you should just leave it alone if you guys have a friendship that ood just let him talk. It will come back on him.

ignore it and move on.

Try the five year rule:
If it wont matter in five years get over it.

It is something that has helped me get past alot of silly worries in my life.

who the hell care about your ex, if you are married then forget about your ex, let him talk, let his big mouth run like hell, just focus on your husband and your life together not on a jacckass like your ex.
