By a country mile. The Sawshank Redemption.great storey line.
Outstanding cast.and a sequence mid way through the film.that will, if you have a soul lift your emotions to a new high. I refer to the sequence the duet On the Breeze from The Marriage of Figaro was piped through Shawshank ,and i understand that from recent research that that very duet was responsible for many people being converted into being devotees of the wonderful MOTZART. Not seen it? give it a try .

My friends ridicule me for my choice of all time best movie, i think that "Being There" with Peter Sellers is a classic, I love the byplay and the straightforward honesty of Peter Sellers character, Chance - Chauncey Gardiner. The man did not know he could not do anything so he did it, the closing scene is a veritable classic.

The Fifth Element - Good story, great special effects, beautiful cinematography, quirky characters. There's a reason why it's one of the first movies to come out on Blu-ray (high def) DVD.

I liked Schindler's List, March of the Penguins, and Gettysburg. I liked them because they made me really stop and think and gave me a different way of looking at something. Also, all three really moved me.
