I am a rock artist,I don`t know why,myself,but I started painting things on rocks,which,no bragging but they are pretty good ,or .at least cute.Everyone likes it when I give them as a present,but not many people want to buy them.They would rather buy cheap prints at Walmart.

Thanks to the people who are open to rock painting,people who like rocks and animals are my kind of people.They can be used as paper weights or put them in a flower bed or on a windowsill or even big ones for door stops.

I'm a pebble and rock artist too, I sell them but i originally painted them to get me through the winter cos it helped my mood i do alsorts of designs and the colours are beautiful { if i do say so myself} i don't think anyone is aware of the amount of time and effort never mind skill that's involved i find it difficult to get the price for them i think there worth, so yes if i liked someone Else's rock art i would definitely buy one or even two, Rock on!!

Painting on rocks sounds cool! I never thought about painting on a rock. Yes I know people like to buy cheap prints at Wal-Mart and other places. I don’t know why when they could go to a local art show and buy an original painting.
I have to ask what size are your rocks and do prime them so the paint sticks to the surface? It sounds like you have come up with a cool idea.

I wouldn't buy a painted rock. You can find rocks for free and paint them yourself. I am sorry this isn't exactly a money making idea, but good luck anyways!

I am sure that they are nice .. i am a young geologist (fresh graduate) and i love rocks and i am sure you make them look nicer ! On what type of rocks you paint ? What are their sizes ? i like the idea very much .. Abut buying such things i think yes i like to do ..

I used to paint rocks...I dont know why I stopped...maybe you should try making a website to sell them?

I do not think that I would buy one as a gift, sorry! Its just that I am a semester away from graduating with a BFA in fine arts, I could just make my own.

I have a few of them. Right now they collect too much dust and I have to start living with less "stuff" so I will pass them on to the Goodwill
