My daughter could walk at 16 months, but I could not, nor my hubby, nor her grandparents, get her to walk. Then once she went to daycare, she walks and plays and everything we couldn't get her to do for the daycare provider! Has this happened to any of you out there? My daughter is very determined and stubborn as well? How would you handle this, as she is a twin? She's 2 now.

Of course it's normal.

I feel that maybe you were putting too much focus on it?

Of course, children seem to mind parents friends and strangers better than their own parents.

She knows how you (family) function and it is different from daycare. Think about it you probable act differently depending on who you are with and where you are. All parents have this problem it is very common.
